A little update on
Kyndall and her family. She seems even better today. In her new room and not the ICU! Yeah. She was able to keep down more food. That is a good sign. She will need more physical therapy for some time. Brett tried walking her to the bathroom and she just couldn't make it. Still needs time to heal. Julie went home last night to get some rest and Brett stayed with her. I talked to him this morning. He sounded
sooooo tired. I think his body is just now starting to relax from being so stressed out. He went home to sleep and spend time with
Griffen. Poor
Griff woke up throwing up. Not sure what that is all from but he is better my mom said. Julie's dad and his wife are flying in today. I know that will make
Kyndall smile. Julie's mother passed away from Breast cancer last year. Mother's Day was already so hard on her and then this with
Kyndall happened.......but Kyndall is going to be ok! Praise the Lord. We could certainly be facing a lot more right now. We feel so blessed.
When I started this blog a year ago, I did it only to help me keep track of my family and to print it out for them someday. God has opened the door for me to meet so many amazing women and their families since then. With
Kyndall's accident I feel like my circle of blogger friends has grown. Lots of you are going through so much with your own family. I started a prayer list to keep me accountable to pray. I can honestly say I know first hand the power of prayer:) Thank you again for stopping by to pray, comment, or just make sure she was still doing
ok. It is nice to have Sisters in Christ.

Sounds like things are definitely improving, even if they are going slowly. It might take some time, but as long as things keep moving in the right direction, that's all we can ask for! Go Kyndall!
For some reason, I couldn't get onto any blogger addresses for the past 24 hours, and I was chomping at the bit to find out how Kyndall was doing last night and today...I even emailed a friend and had them check your blog and copy and paste your latest entries back to me! Glad it's all good news.

Kyndall's story reminded me of what could have happened to my girls. And gave me new reason to thank God. I am glad she is improving. I will begin praying.
So glad things are looking up for her! What a blessing from the Lord. Isn't God good. Of course He would be just as good whatever the outcome, but it's just such a joy to know she's getting better.
Yes, I've made many bloggy friends and I just realized who you are (I was looking at your blog).
I recognized your blog as being designed by Tara, she designed my blog too. Small world! Isn't she awesome!
Oh Robin!!! I am so glad to hear Kyndall is doing so well. I am overjoyed with the news!! The first thing I did when I got home from work was check on precious Kyndall. Will continue to pray for Kyndall and Julie and Brett, too. I can't imagine what it must have been like for your brother. I will pray that the Lord will give him a peace that passes all understanding...and takes the images out of the forefront of his memory. She really is making a remarkable recovery, considering how this could have gone (you and I both know how bad it could've been- we've seen it in the flesh, so to speak, as nurses) a little physical therapy is something to shout with joy over!!!
What a great post!
I am just thrilled for beautiful Kyndall! I still can't believe all this has happened...I can only imagine how all of you feel.
I'll keep those prayers going for Sweet Kyndall that's for sure!
Loves ya!
I'm so glad she is doing so much better. I know it will take time, but what a wonderful miracle she is! I will continue to pray for healing and strength, both physical and emotional!
