Thanksgiving at Pop and Meme's house.

For Thanksgiving the Reed family loaded up and headed to Sulphur Springs to see Pop and Meme. We couldn't wait to spend time with them and see cousin Zoe. Zoe 2, Robin ?, and Landry 3 (almost 4!)
Pop and Meme's house always has fun things to do.

Isn't she a doll? Sweet Zoe.

Lauren found a book that Meme made for Casey when he was growing up. Full of sports events, newspaper clips, and old pictures. The kids loved getting to see Daddy when he was a kid. I was shocked to see how much Landry looked like him at that age. He will grow up to be as handsome as his daddy.
Sulphur Springs really is a neat little town in Texas. Their court house looks like a castle.
The 3L's getting excited that Christmas is around the corner.
Borrowing Santa's sleigh
I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family. Casey's folks are like my second parents to me and I love them both very much. It was so nice to spend Thanksgiving with them. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

My little Outlaw!

Landry is something else. He is full of life and full of fun times. I am so thankful for this Outlaw! This is his new cowboy hat that his grandmother bought him in Ft. Worth. He likes to wear it everywhere........including the grocery store. Landry and Riley at Miss Heather's house. He has the best time there. Miss Heather is the best!
My little Indian.

We love you Landry!

I haven't posted about him lately because to be honest we are a bit overwhelmed right now. The good news is the medicine is still going great. We are thrilled about that and thank the Lord for answering this prayer to get him well. Yeah! No hospital. The bad news is we saw our doctor on Monday and our doctor wants us to pursue another specialist for more testing. The antibiotic that he is now taking does not cover other bad illness. We need a game plan for his future. There are only a handful of Immunologist who specialize in drug allergies with kids. The main one being in Dallas who won't see him until he is 6. She has never done research on a child Landry's age. We are back at square one it seems. We have been through several specialist already. If we don't find one in Texas then we will have to go to places like National Jewish in Denver. That will cost a lot and would be hard on our family being split up for awhile. So this is where we are at.....looking for another specialist. I still am holding onto my FAITH and now adding in some HOPE. Thank you for praying with us! God is good my friends.

Update on Landry

Late Friday night I developed the boys strep. If this is what they felt like I should had been more sympathetic.....ouch. ha! I was up all night hurting, fever, and throwing up so when Saturday rolled around to leave for the train ride I just couldn't make it. My sweet husband took the 3L's to Ft. Worth on a train and stayed the night. I hated to not go especially with Landry still taking his medicine but I had no choice. Casey's parents met him up there and stayed the night too. They had a great time. Saturday night Landry had a few bumps after the bath tub but they quickly faded. The hives may be there but they aren't that bad it seems. We pray that as he continues to go on he stays reaction free. What a huge blessing this would be. We still have Faith about this! Thank you for praying. Lauren took pictures for me of their trip I will post them soon after I kick this stuff. Have a Happy Monday blogger buds.
