Last day of PreK.....Ever!

It is hard to believe that our youngest just finished preK.

It seems like yesterday this was Lauren!

Now all 3 have been blessed to go through First Woodway Christian School.

Landry had one of the sweetest teachers, Mrs. Scott.

At the party I could tell Landry was getting a little sad. I asked what was wrong and he said he is going to miss his class next year. Oh, sweet boy........it was a great year for you!

For the last day of school the kids got to have some fun in the water together.

Nothing like a good ol' water balloon toss.

I tried to cherish every second of that day

knowing just around the corner big K is on the way.

Sweet boy~ I loved watching you learn and grow this past year at FWCS. You always had a smile on your face when I saw you in the halls or picked you up from school. I have to admit I was a little nervous putting you in preK knowing that you might get sick being around a group of kids. We are still trying to figure out this allergy thing you have but God showed me so much this past year. Biggest one is to stop worrying about you getting sick. He opened my eyes that no matter what comes our way with you he is always going to see us through it. Landry Love, you are such a joy to daddy and I. We thank God for you each day! Know that we are soooo proud of you and all that you learned at preK. Look out Spring Valley.....Landry is going to knock your socks off this fall!

Our trip to San Francisco

My sweet hubby and I took a work/vacation to San Fran last week.

We had so much fun together. It was a nice little time away!

We were pretty much tourist and took in all the sites that we could.

Alcatraz was very creepy and reminded me of a scary movie.

The bay was gorgeous.

Lots of entertainment on the streets.

This is my S.F. bum hubby who asked me to marry him. He likes to dress up for me. ha!

I am a taffy queen. Casey got tired of me stopping at each taffy store to try a new flavor. Yum!

One for the 3L's at home

Our hotel was right in the city so we walked a lot. We ran into John Madden almost every morning at this coffee store. Casey was in heaven meeting this celebrity.

I was amazed at the unique buildings.

I ran into Top Chef winner Hubert Keller at his famous restaurant.

He was sooo nice and I was sooo excited to meet him! I love that show.

We ate and ate and ate! The cupcakes were to die for.

Living it up in this fun city!

THEN, my hubby saw this "M&M on wheels" (is what I call it) to take us around the city. We had a great time but it was scary!!! Nothing like going 20 mph with a tour bus or a taxi behind you. I think I cussed him like a sailor.

Good idea honey, but you almost lost me to that bum that day. haha!

By now, I was a S.F. girl!

We had a great time and celebrated our 13 years of marriage a little early.

What about the 3L's?

Well, they were here with Appy (my mom) and my 90 year old grandmother having a blast!!

Thank you mom and gmaw for taking such great care of the 3L's while we were away.

I loved CA and the time alone with my sweetheart!

Even though we lived it up and acted like newly weds we were so glad to get back home too. Home is where the heart is!
