"Please keep hands inside at all times"......

should have told us something right away that this was going to be a scary ride. Luke, who is our thrill seeker, had been begging us to go on this ride at SeaWorld. There was only one condition we had, he would have to talk his little brother into riding this ride. If we are going to do it, we will do it as a family. Landry HATES scary rides unlike his brother. So on the second day of SeaWorld Lauren and Luke bribed their little brother with candy, toys, promises, etc. Just about anything to talk him into riding this ride with the rest of us. Casey and I both aren't that fond of rollercoaster but we kind of secretly thought that Landry would never give in. He did.....on no! As we stood in line to ride this and heard scream after scream we all kind of started second guessing this idea. We piled into the ride together as a family.....click, click, click,...it climbed to the top. I could see ALL of San Antonio from here. (I wanted to puke) It spun us around one time and we did a small dip backwards. None of knew it was going to do this. Luke, our little thrill seeker, all of a sudden changed his mind that this was too scary for him. This caught Casey and I off guard. He began to cry and trying every way to get off. Mind you we are still WAY up in the sky about to speed down at 70mph into water. Landry, the NON thrill seeker, was laughing and loving it. It spun us around one time....Casey and I trying to calm Luke down........here we go! Splash....soaking wet. I wipe the water from my eyes and look at Luke to see this big happy/shocked look on his face. It was that moment on we no longer have a thrill seeker in the family....whew! (unless Landry liked it a little too much...oh no!)

Overall, it really was fun! Even Luke has said that.

The boys making a plan on which direction to go first. I thought this was too cute. The boys had to check out the map first while the girls just wanted to go. If we got lost we could just ask for directions right? Oh no! Boys don't do that. ha!

Lauren and Landry having fun

Lauren and Flipper

Having fun

SeaWorld even had a water park to play in.

We enjoyed the shows. Uncle Max was so funny.

Luke opted for less scary rides. He was having so much fun.

Shamu! The star of SeaWorld.

It was worth going just to see this beautiful whale.

We are already making plans to go back.

What a fun vacation!
Have a blessed day~

The Reeds at SeaWorld

We had a wonderful time at Sea World.
So much fun that we decided to add on an extra day. Hey, helps to have season passes! Here are some pictures from our trip. I loved every bit of it but the best part was watching my kids laugh. Casey and I enjoyed that the most. Are we there yet?

The Hilton Hill Country Resort

Our first sighting of Shamu!

Landry asked if he could have a pony like this one.
Sorry Lanny bob.

The 3 Loves of my life
Everyone voted that feeding the dolphins was the best!
Flipper

See this smile on her face? I love seeing her happy.
Beluga Whale

Shark tank and the 3L's with daddy
Lauren thinks this would be the coolest job
Lazy river.......enough said!
Luke and Landry had it pretty nice. They had a double stroller to ride in around the park.

After a fun filled day at Sea World we went swimming at the hotel, did smores, and watched Ice Age on the wall. Wonderful!

Ewwy-gooey smores..yum!

Up early for breakfast and then back to Sea World to ride some rides.
There is nothing like being in the arms of this man I love. He is my everything!
It was so much fun having fun with the 3L's and spending some time with my hubby.

More to come.....thanks for looking!

Friends are Friends Forever!

One of my dearest best friends came to see me all the way from Arkansas. Jen and I met in Iowa at a Kindermusik class. Lauren was 1 years old and Jen was a nanny for an OB in town. She and little Peter would meet us for lunch all the time. God established a sweet friendship between us. We have kept in touch over the years. It has been 3 years since our families have been together. It was so good to see them and we had the BEST time with the Bryant family! Even our husbands enjoy each other
The 3L's with Zach and Will.
(You will soon understand why Zach has a bandaid over his eyebrow)

Weds. morning we loaded up the cars and made our way to San Antonio to see Shamu. We were all sooo excited. Everything was going fine until........something bad happened. Casey and I made a stop at Target (yes, I forgot something to pack......won't tell you what. ha!) so the Bryants went on to meet us at the hotel. Their rooms weren't ready yet so they decided to go eat just down the road at Rudy's BBQ. Zach stepped off the curb and hit his head hard on the concrete curb. Blood was everywhere. They rushed him to the nearest hospital (that was across the road and just opened up!). He needed stitches and a CAT scan. Bless his sweet little heart. (and theirs! Jen, I am praying for Zach) So the first day they spent several hours in the ER instead of Sea World. The last time the Bryant family was here visiting us is when Landry had his first allergic reaction that landed us in the ER. Jen and I joke now that this will be the last time we meet in Texas since one of our kids ends up in the ER!

Love ya dearly Jen~

Stay tuned for Sea World pictures.......
