Mothers Day Program

I have to share the wonderful gifts that Luke made for me at school. Luke made a special picture of me. It says "the reason why I love my mom is because she is a nurse". I do love being a nurse but not as much as I LOVE being a mom to these sweet three!

The other was a letter about me. He was asked:

Favorite food? Cookies

Favorite book? the Bible

Favorite shows? grown up shows

Things that make mom happy? flowers, hugs, penguin kisses from me, going on dates with daddy

He sure does know me!

Happy Mothers Day to all of my wonderful friends! A special wish to my own mom who means the world to me. Not only is she my mom but she is my best friend. I only hope to be half the mom she is! Happy Mother's Day mom! Love you~Rob

Luke's Mothers Day brunch 08

Today was one of the sweetest reminders of why I love being a mom. Luke's school had a program for all of the mommies. It was hard fighting back the tears watching my big boy sing to me!

Lauren's 3rd grade track/field day

Lauren had her track/field day at Midway stadium. She has been looking forward to this day for one reason. She was picked to do the 400 relay. She did a SUPER job and we are so proud of her! The boys and I went to watch. Her team came in second place. Way to go Lauren!

Hawkeye Lukey

I found this shirt at a grocery store today for Luke. It cost $1. ha! Luke was born in Iowa City, Iowa. We got him to Texas as fast as we could. jk!

Appy and Gma came to visit

It was so nice having my mom and grandmother here this past week. They helped take care of the kids while I took a nursing test. It is always a blessing when they come to Waco! I wish we lived closer to them because I miss them so much. While they were here they got to attend one of Luke's baseball games. He was pretty excited about that.

Oh to be a kid again!

This past weekend Casey and I came across a tent at Walmart. We couldn't wait to get it home and put it up in the backyard. The kids had so much fun. Hours and hours of in and out that tent with stuffed animals, books, sleeping bags, cars, you name it! It was like their own little house in the backyard. Casey and I enjoyed watching them and their little imaginations at play.
