Kyndall update: She made it to Childrens yesterday around 3. I know they are glad to be there! Today Kyndall met with all kinds of therapist for evaluations. They are making a plan of action. Someone said maybe a couple of weeks of this? She is pretty worn out from today. Brett is coming home after being gone all week. Kyndall is excited to see her dad. Wishing them a nice weekend together!

Things didn't go as planned yesterday with Kyndall....
dang insurance companies! They were all packed up and ready to transport her in the ambulance when they put a stop to all of it. Waiting on approval from their insurance.......frustrated. At first Julie and Kyndall were so disappointed but what can you do? So maybe today will be the day. They did get her up and tried to get her to walk on her own. She is still so weak and in pain. The pain the neurologist is saying is sympathetic nerve pain. The brain is misfiring and making things hurt worse than what they really are. It feels like fire when you touch her. They are changing up some of her medications to hopefully help. I think if they could get this figured out she would feel tons better and then could gain more strength. They watched American Idol last night and Griffen came over to see her. They had a better night. Fingers crossed that today they will get to move to Childrens and start PT.
Thank you for checking on Kyndall.

Good morning
Kyndall's MRI was negative. She is in a lot of pain still but the doctor said a dislocated shoulder can be very painful. No blood clot....whew. This morning they are moving her to another hospital. She will be at Childrens to start her physical therapy. There they will continue to monitor the other things going on too. Maybe being around some other kids in the hospital will lift her spirits. We are looking at this as a road closer to home:) Hang in there Kyndall. We love you!

Kyndall update tonight
They did an MRI on Kyndall tonight because of how much pain she was in. They hope to know something from the MRI in the morning, and is very thankful that the ultrasounds showed no blood clot in the shoulder/arm. Kyndall is sleeping, and Julie is not far behind. Sounds like one long day. Thank you for praying for Kyndall.
Update and meet our new daughter....
* Latest Update (got this from Julie a few minutes ago): Start praying for Kyndall. She is hurting sooooo bad right now and they don't know why. Pray that the doctors will find out where and why she is hurting. Bless her heart!
*Kyndall update: She is having a hard time regulating her temperature and her blood pressure. They said this is normal for what happened to her. They are watching it closely and running all kinds of test. She is having to wear a blood pressure patch to help. Today they will be moving her to the pediatric rehab part of the hospital. There they will work with her more on her walking. Hard to believe it has been a week already. This is Maddie and Kyndall right before the accident.
Still praying for you sweet girl!
We Love you Kyndall.
Now on to something a little silly....it seems we have a new daughter in our house. She likes her (his) nails painted and her (his) hair extensions in that her (his) older sister put in.Kind of the new mullet style she (he) is going for.
(Oh, your daddy is going to kill me for this post. ha!)

Lauren's Dance Recital 2009
*Kyndall update: she is walking better today. Not much more to report with it being a Sunday and not many doctors around. Brett has to be gone all week due to his work. He is really, really wishing he could be with Kyndall. Julie has her dad and step mom to help out this week. Along with tons of friends. We are praying that this week goes well for them! Thank you for praying.
Lauren had her dance recital this weekend. I wasn't sure her daddy was going to let her out of the house to go. She is just growing into this beautiful lady inside and out. She has been dancing for three years now and really loves it. We took her good friend Hallie with us. The two of them had a ball back stage. Sweet memories!
Lauren, we love you! You did a great job.
