Landry's Easter Party at Heather's House

I am pretty sure Landry knows how special he is to be surrounded by all of these pretty girls! When one of them is sick, absent, or having a bad day he tells me about it and how he helped Ms. Heather make them feel better. Here he is with his sweet Lil Girlfriends.
Haddie, Cami, Landry, Riley, and Lucy Landry and Cami

Easter at Pop and Meme's House

Easter weekend we visited Casey's parents otherwise known as Pop and Meme to the 3L's. We got to spend time with cousin Zoe Kate. Isn't she a doll? Little blonde curls and the cutest cheeks you ever saw on a 2 year old. The 3L's and Zoe started off with an egg hunt in the backyard. The good thing about East Texas is it has lots of trees to hide eggs in. They had so much fun!
Luke was first to collect all of his eggs ( I was wondering if he would be burned out egg hunting yet? Nope!)

Fun times!

Casey and his brother, Coby. They are 7 years apart and still the best of friends.

Little Miss Zoe. I cannot believe this little girl was once born weighing 3 pounds!

The 3L's couldn't wait to climb into one of those East Texas trees.

"2 turtle doves and 3 kids in a pecan tree.....ha!"
Coby, Zoe, and just baby.....when you ask her what is the name of her baby she says "Just baby"

Then we headed to the Sulphur Springs park. This place is every kids dream of what a park should be like.

I am so lucky to have married into a family who loves their Lord and Savior, loves my kids, and loves me. Spending Easter with them was so much fun!
Oh, for my blogger buds who asked about what site I am going to use to print my blog off on is blurb.com. I am just waiting to get to my 300th post before doing this. I will let you know how it turns out!
Have a blessed day~Rob

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

I was trying to figure out how many years we have been doing this and with the help of a neighbor this was our 6th year. Wow! Really 6 years? How sweet it is to look back at these kiddos. (I can't find on my computer a couple of years. Mindy do you have these?)

2008 Easter Egg hunt in the Hood

I will spare you the running around pictures. I have so many back of heads and bending over picking up egg pictures. haha! Nothing like action shots.

After the kids find their 12 eggs they know to have a seat and open eggs. Plus, it is cupcake and drink time!

What a blessing it is to live in a neighborhood full of wonderful families!

Kindergarten Easter Egg Hunt

Thursday Luke had his Kindergarten Easter egg hunt at Hewitt Park. I am not sure what he was more excited about....hunting eggs or his first ride on a school bus? ha! You see all of these eggs on the field here? Guess who labeled EACH one of those with a child's name? Oh My stars! The things you do as a room mom. I won't even go into the BIG mix up with 3 boys named Brayden, Brandon, and Braedon. ha! Whew........it was so worth it watching these guys have a great time. Luke getting off his first bus ride. He had the choice of going home with me after the egg hunt but he couldn't decide at first because he would miss out riding the bus back to school.......the good news is he picked going home with me!
I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes watching him hunt eggs. It seems like yesterday I was doing this with Lauren! Soon it will be Landry's turn....waaahhhhhh.........slow down 3L's!

Checking out the goodies!

An old fashion egg race on a soon.

Duck, duck.....goose!

Luke racing his student teacher, Ms. Terrell, in a duck waddle contest.

Cheese pizza too? What a FUN day!

Luke, I can't get over that you are about to be a first grader. You are already so tall and handsome. I sure did have a blast helping with your egg hunt.......

and even though I told your daddy at one point that I would never do this again with that many eggs....I was wrong! It was worth it all to see you and your friends have a wonderful time. I love you Lukesters~mom
