National Day of Prayer

Today is National Day of Prayer. I am a firm believer in the power of prayer. I can't imagine my life without spending time with my Heavenly Father each day. There are so many things I pray about.........from the little stuff to the big stuff. My favorite verse in the bible is
Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and remember to thank Him for His answers..... I love the fact that my son's baseball team prays before each game. I hope that my children will learn the importance of prayer in their own life.

Luke's Big Game

Luke, Blaine, and Walker getting ready to play baseball My handsome little ball player
The boys were ready for the other team to get off the field.
Play Ball!
Go #7!
Luke has been practicing with dad at home and he has been really wanting to HIT the ball one time in his game......

waiting for the pitch.....oh no! Strike out.

Here he is again up to bat. Mom and Dad holding their breath (praying for a hit for my boy) and THEN.... SMACK!
Look at the smile (toothless) on this kids face!!! It was the best feeling in the world as a parent to see Luke run to that first base. He did it! Bless his heart, that is all he wanted was to "smack it" and he did.
Luke, I am sure there are many more smacks to come. Great job buddy!
Look what little brother was doing during the game....busting a move on the chicks. ha!

I can see the sign now...

The Reed's Car Wash! Look out Genie Car wash on Hewitt Drive. You now have competition. This is how I found these two today washing their Jeep. So serious and on a mission. When they asked if they could do my car next.....I had to pass. I am sure they would have found a way to put my Tahoe on its side too.
Oh, I love these guys!

Dance pictures

Lauren had her dance pictures today and I just couldn't resist taking a few of my own. This little girl is growing up! Yes, another one of those moments that hits me in the face seeing her dressed like this. It is so bitter sweet. I am so beyond happy and excited to see her grow into this beautiful young lady inside and out. Also, so moved to tears to see my little tiny 5 pounder baby girl grow into this beautiful young lady. I only hope the the good Lord will forever imprint these moments in my heart!
Forgive me, I went a little wild on the picture taking today.
Lauren takes Tapp, Jazz, and Ballet. Here are two of her costumes she will wear for the recital coming up in 2 weeks. I can't wait to see those long legs dancing away!

Casey and I wanted a few pictures with her in her tap costume. She had the giggles in this picture. I missed taking a full length picture of her in her pink boots with this outfit. She was a cutie.

Casey holding back the tears while taking a picture with Lauren.
Me with my little dancing queen. (holding back the tears too)
