Teams Of Tomorrow

Landry had his last TOT performance at MCC.
He was such a super star!
Proud brother and sister
(Landry hates the sun in his eyes. ha!)
There were lots of little ones on the gym floor giving it their best that day.
It was truly amazing how they got all of them doing the same thing at one time. Such a neat program set to music. Not only did they do basketball skills but they did abcs, right hand/left hand, body parts, up and down, etc.
So cute!
One part of the show the kids went over the 5 senses.
Landry got taste and boy was he happy. Look at that sucker!
Our future Harlem Globetrotter!
Landry and his trophy.
He is soooo proud of that! (we are too)
It is so much fun watching your child perform and then getting to shower them with love! It makes 2 very proud parents of this little boy.
We love you Landry~mom and dad

Stage Moms and Best Friends

This years dance recital was extra special because my best girls, their beautiful girls, and Lauren's best friend was there. I can't tell you in words how much fun it was to be together for this special event.
This picture pretty much sums it up!
Maybe they should have a "daughter and mom" dance class?
(I can just imagine Lauren's eyes rolling right about now. ha!)

Lauren loved having Jillian, Abby, and Haddie there.

Having the girls there should made the early morning rehearsal go by faster!
The past 2 years Lauren's BFF, Hallie, joined us. She was such a help getting Lauren around in between dances and a really good photographer. I love this sweet girl like one of my own! Lauren is so excited that Hallie has decided to take dance class with her next year!
This was Haddie's first year of dance. Boy, was she the star of the show! That sweetpea is a natural. Lauren said that Haddie's dance was the best one of them all. I agree! Super cute little girls in their tutus.

Lauren's Dance Recital May 2010

Saturday was a big day at out house.
Lauren had her 4th dance recital to attend. Getting her dressed and putting on her performance makeup reminded me that these days are coming to an end. Soon she will not need my help getting ready.
I cherished every bit of this day with my sweet girl.
Lauren's best friend, Hallie, joined us for our special event. She was such a great helper taking pictures and helping with costume changes. Hallie is like another daughter to me. Love that girl too!
Our beautiful ballerina on stage.
She melts my heart every day with that smile. Even though it feels so hard watching her grow up right before my eyes, I enjoy our mother/daughter relationship even more these days. She is easy to talk to, makes me laugh, and shows me her heart all the time.
I thank the Lord for blessing me with a daughter!

They did a GREAT job!
Dance by Emily award ceremony
Look at all of those pretty girls.
Brothers watching their sisters. They even had a good time.
(I think because they got to sit on the back row and giggle at the girls)
The boys and dad got Lauren flowers after the show.
One proud daddy of his baby girl
Dancing Queen and her #1 fans
I love you Lauren Nicolle. You did an amazing job.
I am so proud of you for shining on that stage. I hope you always love to dance (in a dance studio or just around your room at home) ~mom
The girls and I made a Sonic trip for ice cream afterwards
and guess who pulled up beside us? The boys:)
What a fun day!
Stay tuned for stage moms and BFFs!
