Thankful Thursday

Of course I am thankful for ALL 3L's but this Thursday I am thankful for Luke's sensitive heart. Luke is every teacher's dream. He plays by the rules, knows when to use his manners, a good student, and always helping out his teacher or other kids in his class. Everyday since kindergarten we get a behavior report on how your child did at school. Luke has never gotten a mark on his chart. Something he is so proud of UNTIL yesterday. Bless his heart! I opened up his little blue folder only to find he has a #1 for the day. This means that he "talked without permission" and he was just devastated! With the tears rolling down his face he began to tell me about it. He was simply telling another kid to not talk. (This kid had been in so much trouble that day and if he got one more mark on his chart he would have to go to the office) Luke was crying to me that he didn't want to see his friend go to the office so he was trying to tell him to stop. Only the teacher caught Luke talking at the wrong time.

Even though he got a #1 on his chart, I am proud of his sensitive heart for others.

Luke~I hope you always help look out for your friends.

Now she is growing up way too fast before my eyes.

11 years old and sweet as can be!

Kite Day with Daddy

Landry and Casey had a big day on Friday cause it was Kite day with the dads.

This was Casey's 3rd time to get to do this.....and the last....... sniff, sniff.

Landry made a special gift for his daddy at school.

It was a sight to see!

There were 50 or so kites up in the air all at one time.

Hard to think about this little Pre-Ker about to be a kindergartner.

We LOVE you so very much Landry!!!!!!!
