Happy Birthday to the LOVE of my Life!

Happy Birthday to the LOVE of my life! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be married to such an AMAZING man!
There is so much about you that I love. I can't even begin to name them all right here for it would be the longest post ever! I would have to say at the top of my list is your kisses. You never leave for work or come home without stopping me to hold me and love on me. You make me feel so secure, loved, and still your new bride.

I love the way you love Luke. You are his best buddy. He looks up to you in so many ways. You are there to teach him about life, never get frustrated with his millions of questions about plugs (ha!), you set an example of what it is like to love our Heavenly Father and the importance of Him, you teach him all about sports and that Texas Tech is the best school there is (jk), the way you encourage him to never give up, the way you smile so proudly at him and have him look you in the eyes when you tell him you love him. He loves you. I could go on and on.........

I Love the way you love Lauren. I see so clearly in my mind the first time you held her in the hospital. You looked at me with tears in your eyes. There was a new girl in town to love. You embraced her so tight and have never let go. You are her hero and I only pray that someday she will find a man just like you! I see so much of you in her......her smile, those long legs, and a heart that cares for everything and everyone. There is this amazing bond between a father and daughter. The way you love her melts my heart. You encourage her and give her strength to face life. She will always be daddy's girl. She loves you.

I Love the way you love Landry. Two peas in a pod! He gets his love for life from you. The way you turn his giggle box over is something I never want to forget. When you reach down and pick him up he lights up. Your touch, tickles, and rolls on the bed with him is something he looks forward to when daddy gets home. The funny voices I hear coming from bed time stories I treasure. You are an amazing dad to him. He loves you so much. We have had scares with him and the unknown of what is ahead with Landry and his allergy rocks my world at times but it is you who helps me to see that God will never give us more than we can handle. You help me turn towards my Faith.
Happy Birthday Daddy from the 3L's!

So as this special day goes on, know how much I LOVE you and thank you for being all that you are to me and to the 3L's.

Happy Birthday Chupe! Let's celebrate;)

It was our turn.

The "yuk" is hitting our house. Do you ever as a mom get that feeling it is coming? We have been so blessed with a long spurt of healthy 3L's for sometime now. I am grateful for that. Landry is under the weather right now. This morning he is running a temp and sounds awful. I always get a little nervous when he gets anything because of his past with antibiotics. I guess it is that time of year when illness likes to creep into our houses isn't it? Praying for healthy kids and for my blogger buds kids too. Stay healthy!

Trick-or-Treating in the Hood

Trick-or-Treating 2008 I think these two liked handing out candy more than trick-or-treating....or was it eating the candy in the bucket?

Of all the 101 Dalmatians I sure picked the right puppy!

Go Texas Tech! Beat UT!

This is my sweet pea trying on her Red Raider cheerleader uniform to make sure it fits for the BIG game this weekend. This Saturday Tech plays Texas in Lubbock. If it wasn't for Halloween I think the Reeds would jump in the car just to go to the tailgating. So much fun!
Oh, I love this little girl!
Sassy, funny, and full of life

You may or may not be a Texas Tech cheerleader someday like you dream of but you will always be our adorable Red Raider.
Get your Guns Up this Weekend! Go Texas Tech!

Easy Halloween treats to make with the kids

Every year my family makes these together. I wanted to share them with you! Halloween Ghost
Dip Nutty-butters in melted white chocolate and set them on wax paper to dry. Quickly place small m&ms for the eyes. Let them dry completely before you move them.

I got this recipe from my good friend Elizabeth a few years ago. It is such a hit! We call it Monster Mash

1-2 bags of popcorn. Make sure you get all the unpopped kernels out. In a big bowl mix melted white chocolate (isn't everything better with chocolate?) over the popcorn. Spread out on a cookie sheet with wax paper. Sprinkle m&ms all over and let it dry. When dry crumple it up and put in a big bowl.
These are so simple to do as you can tell but so fun do with the kids. Enjoy and if you have any fun recipes you do with your kids send them my way. Thanks!
