Prayers for Texas
Praying for all of those being hit by Ike right now. My heart just breaks to think about what this is doing to the state I love so much. It just looks awful from what we see on TV. We are supposed to get some of this around noon today. The winds are picking up and you can tell a storm is on its way. Join me in prayer for Texas today and the wonderful people in it.

Definitely praying, hope this storm weakens considerably before reaching your area,my sister and her family rode it out fairly well, don't have any power but she has been able to call with her cell phone and update her blog (not sure how-something about a verizon card in her work laptop? Took the weekend off from work when I thought Ike might come closer to Corpus (and us) didn't want my parents to have to shoulder the responsibility for my kids alone.

For sure I will join you. The weather folks say the rain from Ike is headed this way with 6-10 inches. We shall see what happens. Lots of prayers to Texas as they go through this...
