Christmas at Spring Valley

Oh, I love this time of year! So many fun things to do with the 3L's. Lauren and Luke's school had a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday. This year makes our 5th picture with Santa from here. It is fun to look back at their past pictures with him. The very first one Lauren was in kindergarten, Luke was barley 2, and Landry was a week away from being born. Now look at my 3L's. Growing up way to fast before my eyes. The kids had a great time decorating cookies.

playing Christmas games

and face painting. What kid doesn't love face painting?

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at the Reed house! I even think Santa will be stopping by late Friday night for an early Christmas. I sure hope you 3L's have been good...hint, hint! Love you guys~Mom

Four years ago today our family was complete....

God blessed us with our third L. Landry Barton Reed. I remember this picture all to well. Feeling huge and ready to meet my son. We were so excited. Landry's due date was actually Christmas Day but he had other plans. I remember sitting in church thinking he sure is active today. Little did I know he was packing his bags in there I guess. ha! At 7:43pm Landry came into this world weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces.

There is nothing in the world that compares to holding your baby for the first time. You can't help but cry tears of joy.

He completed our family.

The 3L's first picture together.

Happy Birthday Landry. Your family loves you!

More birthday pictures of Landry

It has been a busy week over here at the Reed house. I wanted to share some exciting news (or I should say hopeful news) our Austin doctor is trying to get us into the Dallas doctor (who is supposed to be VERY experienced in drug allergies). This doctor only takes children 6 and up but she feels like she might can get us in considering we are out of options. This would be WONDERFUL news to us. To be right in our own backyard instead of having to fly to another state. Please pray with me that this happens. Stay tuned......Ok, now for the birthday pictures!
Lauren and Landry. Two peas in a pod. They are so much alike. She just loved on him all day long. So sweet.
The 3L's were ready to bowl!

Landry couldn't help but giggle. He was having a great time with dad.
My handsome little men. They sure melt my heart.
Landry's brother from another mother. ha! He is a heart breaker too.
Lovin' the attention

Silly teeth and Silly boys

Happy 4th Birthday Landry Love! You bring so much sunshine to this family.
I wonder what a four year old wishes for?
Is there little league bowling?

Landry and Riley. She is one of his buddies from Miss Heathers. They enjoy each other so much.

What a wonderful day to be surrounded by people who love you Landry. I hope you had a great fourth birthday! I can't wait to see what this year of your life will bring.
All tuckered out......sweet dreams baby boy.

Oh my Goodness. I won!

I am cracking up over here. My friend Kelleye posted a contest on her blog about Christmas trees. I don't think I have ever won a contest. ha! Thanks sweet girl for making my day. Stop by and visit her blog http://hellesonquest.blogspot.com/2008/12/i-have-winner.html not because of my story (God bless my sweet grandparents!) but because she is an awesome person to get to know. She is real, funny to no end, a great mom who tells it like it is, and a good Christian mom. Kelleye and I met in MOPS when she lived here. I have enjoyed reading her blog!

Not a baby anymore......

I was going through some old pictures and then it hit me........we don't have a baby anymore. My youngest will turn 4 years old next week and that saddens me. I don't know why it is just now hitting me? I guess seeing these pictures of Landry as a baby made me realize how fast this time in my life is going. Landry was a surprise to us after going through so much infertility problems to get Luke. A true gift from God he is. Full of life and laughter. He completes our family. So as next week approaches and my baby will turn the BIG 4, I am thanking God for beautiful memories that are forever imprinted in my heart. Being a mom is the best!

Luke and a Freebie

Luke's new favorite book thanks to my Hoodie Liz. If you have read some about Luke then you know his quirky love for fans. Who knew there would even be such a book out there about a fan? ha! I love it because my little kindergartner is reading now. He loves to read! yeah.
On another subject, I have found a really cool site that is free. It is like photo shop only it is FREE! Did I mention that? Try it out with a picture. So many cool things you can do/add and then post it to blogger. Just sharing with my blogger buds (and those of you stinkers I am still after to get a blog......Jen, Angie, Laura, Jill)

Christmas pictures

Aww.....check this off my list of things to do. Woo-hoo! This weekend we had someone come take pictures for us at Cameron park. I am embarrassed to admit this but we have never had a family picture done with the 3L's. It isn't that Casey and I don't want our mugs taken but it usually takes both of us to get all three smiling and positioned right. I know you moms out there know what I am talking about. ha! You can take 200 pictures and pray that at least one turns out for a Christmas card. Well, I almost didn't post these for fear of spoiling our Christmas cards to our family and friends....I will leave you guessing as to which one I used. ha! I am just so excited to finally get a family picture!
Here is a sneak peek.
