Can you guess what this is? Lauren's new bible that she got for becoming a Christian!! My precious baby girl accepted Jesus in her heart Thursday night before Easter. She had been asking many questions about her salvation before all of this and had thought she had asked him in her heart one time....but wasn't real sure. That night she and I watched The Passion of Christ together in her room. The tears flowed and her heart pour out that night. I can't tell you how thrilled I am that God allowed me to be the one to pray that prayer with her. She asked Jesus in her heart and this time there was no doubt!
Of course, we had to celebrate with a special lunch and a few sweet gifts. A cross necklace (like the one my dad gave me on my special day) and a new bible with her name on it. With tears in my eyes, I couldn't be a happier mom than to know I will see my daughter in Heaven! Love you Lauren!!!!
