Reed Family~ Whatcha been up to?

Good question.....hmm....a lot of stuff. Today I looked at the calendar and realized it is already the middle of October? Wow, this month is going fast. I haven't blogged much lately due to the extra little mouths to feed at my house (10 sweet-stinky puppies) and working extra hours as a school nurse. This past weekend my dear in-laws took the 3L's for the weekend to visit their precious cousin, Zoe. They had a BLAST! While they were away Casey and I purged the house. I mean we cleaned it head to toe. I think I restocked the Goodwill store. That was a lot of work but oh what a good feeling to open up a drawer now and not see clutter. I am sure it won't take long for it to get back to the way it was but it was a nice weekend with the hubby!
I got to put out all of the Halloween goodies in the house.
I LOVE the holiday seasons ahead!
Bringing out the pumpkin candle and hot chocolate is the best.

I can't believe these little guys are almost 5 weeks now. They are soooo darn cute. As much work as it has been taking care of all 10 it has been so wonderful too. Our family has really enjoyed these puppies. To see the 3L's giggle at their puppy skunk breath cracks me up each time.

Casey and I have been making lots of school lunch dates with Lauren and Luke. They think it is pretty special to get to sit with mom or dad on stage. After we eat with them we always call each other in tears talking about how blessed we are with the 3L's. Don't worry, Lanny boy has had his special lunch dates too. This will be his last year that we get to tote him around town letting him pick his favorite spot to eat lunch.
Even though this month seems to be flying by to me I try to remember to thank the Good Lord each day for my many blessings. There are always bumps and hurdles each day but man I love my life, my family, and of course my God!
Happy October~Rob

Sounds like a fabulous fall! I have to remind myself sometimes that it is not big things that make up our lives, but a succession of little things. Seems like you are making the most of those little things! God bless.

If those puppies aren't the cutest thing. But oi vey on the puppy breath. Been there, remember that.

Sounds like you have been a busy gal. I can so relate to not knowing where the time went.

You bring such a smile to my face. Your family is precious! Those puppies included!! I can only imagine how refreshing your house must feel. Mine needs it done too plus we have a whole garage full of stuff to get rid of that we have been waiting to have a garage sale for. Isn't it amazing how fast "stuff" can accumulate?

I love this time of year too. Cleaning the house head to toe is awesome! What an accomplishment. I bet you are ready for the new puppy owners to take over:-). Sweet post girl.
