Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

This past Friday Landry and I were coming home from Walmart (craziest place on earth this time of year!) when it began to snow big flakes. It was awesome.
Landry and I opened up the sun roof of the car and let it snow on us as we drove. ha! I know some of you may think we are nuts but it hardly ever snows in this part of Texas. I laughed and laughed as he ran around the yard trying to catch snowflakes in his mouth. I only wished Lauren and Luke could have been here.
I am thankful for some really nice teachers who did bundle up the kids at school and let them run around while it snowed too.
It was heavenly!

So sad it ONLY lasted for 30 minutes!
Well, until the next time (what 3 more years?)

It finally felt like winter time here in good ol' Texas!

Sulphur Springs Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was pure fun! We got to spend time with 3 year old Zoe Kate. She just might be the cutest cousin ever. As you can see we Love the peanut so very much! She brings out the silly in the 3L's
I have to say that I have a lot to be Thankful for but at the top of my list is my in-laws who I adore! I am a lucky daughter in law:)
We enjoyed our time with them and all of the yummy food.
Every year the day after Thanksgiving this little town (well bigger than my old hometown) sets up their Christmas tree and Santa workshop by the court house. The 3L's love getting to see these.
Sneaking a kiss on Santa's sleigh:)
This is their beautiful court house Santa's workshop

These two are two peas in a pod!
It was a very BLESSED Thanksgiving at the Reeds

Landry's Thanksgiving Party 2009

Mrs. Scott's class had a Thanksgiving party right before break. The little preKers took their turkey feather home to decorate and then bring it back to place on Tom Turkey. It was really neat to see all of the "colorful and creative feathers" Landry made us want to cry when we saw what he was thankful for.....his family.
His older brother, Luke, said at that age that he was thankful for chicken nuggets and Christmas lights on his feather! ha~ I still have that feather.

There was plenty of crafts and yummy cupcakes
and even a game of pin the waddle on the Turkey.

Man~ I love this little boy! He sure makes this mommy a lot to be thankful for.

"The Best Birthday Ever"....

are the words I heard from my sweet 7 year old.
It started off with birthday streamers (this is something we have always done with the 3L's since they were little. They get to have streamers on their door all week) and then it was time to open up a few presents before school.

We ate lunch with Luke at school and brought cupcakes for his class. That Friday it happened to be 2 other kids birthdays in his class too. Each kid ended up with 3 cupcakes. Boy, was it a good day for Luke's teacher Mrs. B to be gone. Poor sub teacher with all that sugar high!

For Luke's birthday we got him an aquarium for his room.
We went to the pet store and he picked out two goldfish.

Meet swimmy and swimmo!
(who are now swimming in Heaven.....we are still trying to figure out this fish thing!)

Then it was time for some birthday cake and birthday spankings!

Sunday Luke had his birthday party at the movies with his buddies.
They watched Planet 51
He was having a ball!

Happy 7th Birthday!
It turned out to be one FUN celebration day!
We LOVE you Luke!
Happy Birthday~

There is a Chipmunk in our house.....

and He seems to be stocking up for winter in our couch! Yikes.....we just happened to peek under the cushions of our couch and found Landry's stash. Oh my.........Casey and I about died. ha! It seems he has placed every Halloween wrapper, Popsicle stick, socks, etc. in there instead of going to the trash can or laundry room. Little Stink! I am shocked! I think I have a pretty clean house over here (most of the time) but finding this makes me wonder where else my little chipmunk has placed his goodies......little stink!
He knew he was in trouble......I found him in his closet with the door shut. I just have to laugh! Who knew? I guess I should have known because the last time my mom and grandmother kept the kids while Casey and I were away my grandmother found 8 pairs of shoes in the red couch. All of them were Landry Love.....little stink!

Landry~ You are a stinker but we sure LOVE you.
No more little chipmunk!
